Selby Gardens President and CEO Named 2024 'Voice of Sarasota'

Visit Sarasota County will name Marie Selby Botanical Gardens president and CEO Jennifer Rominiecki the 2024 Voice of Sarasota at National Travel and Tourism Week Event

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System honored more than 750 employees celebrating milestone work anniversaries this year, including longtime staffers reaching 40 and 45 years of service. The longest-serving honorees were Spence Hudon (clinical manager), Gayle Manitz (registered nurse) and Victoria Troutman (patient relations), who were celebrating 45 years of service; and Sandra Erickson (medical laboratory scientist); Craig Gammon (facilities management supervisor), Terria Gibbs (registered nurse), Richard Mellott (patient care tech), Mary Moretti (vascular access nurse), Vicki Smith (clinical data coordinator) and Shirley Swain (OR multi-skilled tech lead), who were marking 40 years of service. 

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens has announced the appointment of Nancy Seijas-Kipnis as vice president for strategic communications and marketing.

The Oaks Women’s Club Scholarship Committee recently announced that 16 young women receiving diplomas from Sarasota County area high schools have been awarded $5,000 scholarships to assist them in their college journey.  They are Emmalee Bunnell, Gisselle Cisneros-Lobo, Bailey Clarke, Addyson Domian, Elsie Hartzell, Aryana Lovely, Ornella Rokh, Emilee McKelveyLesli Gonzalez-Ramirez, Mykayla Graham, Cephora Moise, Ashley Rosas-Rios, Aldana Vasquez Pajuelo, Riley Mayforth, Nazareth Soza Icabalzeta and Grace Flint.

Harry E. Robbins Associates has merged with another local real estate company: Richardson Kleiber Walter and one of its owner original associates, Jennifer Kleiber-Button.
