Coastal Orthopedics is planning to further expand in Manatee County with a new medical center and headquarters. Located on State Road 64 just east of I-75, a 17-acre parcel will be the future home of Coastal Orthopedics’ new 88,000-square-foot medical facility. The new building will house clinical services, an ambulatory surgery center, physical therapy department, administrative offices and diagnostic imaging services, including digital x-rays and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), among other services. The ground-up construction on the new structure is scheduled to begin in January 2021. All of Coastal Orthopedics’ current locations will remain open and operational during construction. Coastal Orthopedics plans to move into its new two-story facility in spring 2022.
