Dozens of dogs (including little Elle Lawson's Gigi, pretty in pink) and at least one cat (Elisabeth Waters' Cornish Rex, Luna) turned out with their adoring owners for the Animal Rescue Coalition’s fifth annual "A Dog's Night Out" at Saks, courtesy of Sally Schule, who thoughtfully provided everyone with wipes, just in case. And when the announcement was made of the "Sarasota's Best Pet" contest, you could see all the guests frantically writing down the Sarasota Magazine Web site address so they could go home and place their votes online.
