SHELLEY WHITESIDE IS NAMED MARKETING MANAGER OF SARASOTA MAGAZINE


The Gulfshore division of CurtCo Media announces Shelley A. Whiteside as Marketing Manager of Sarasota Magazine. 

As Marketing Manager, Whiteside will oversee the marketing of Sarasota Magazine, Biz941, Sarasota/Manatee Homebuyer, St. Armands Magazine, the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce Guides, and contract publications for the area’s most prestigious arts organizations.

Ms. Whiteside has over fifteen years of experience in marketing and sales.  She recently worked as Marketing Director for Sarasota Business Center in Venice, FL.  She also has a strong background in marketing and membership sales for many high end country clubs. “We’re thrilled to have Shelley on board as marketing manager.  She’s a seasoned marketing pro with a wonderful blend of creative, operational and people skills, which will all be put to good work in our new multi-media ad campaigns for Sarasota Magazine and Biz 941”, said Jeff Lawenda, Sarasota Magazine’s Executive Publisher.  Whiteside started her career in her hometown of Joliet, IL where she was Marketing Director for the Joliet Country Club.   She holds a B.S. in Journalism from Northern Illinois University.
