The Sarasota Opera announced the lineup for its 2022 summer movie series called HD at the Opera House and Classic Movies at the Opera House. Showings will include classic films and filmed performances of opera and ballet from around the world.

Opening day is Sunday, May 22, at 1:30 p.m. with Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto from the Royal Opera House in London. Tickets are $20 for members, $22 for nonmembers. The Classic Movies at the Opera house will open with In the Heat of the Night on Friday, July 8 at 7:30 p.m. with tickets at $12.

Other showings will include Romeo and Juliet, Falstaff opera, Swan Lake, To Kill a Mockingbird, Fiddler on the Roof and more.
