This register is an introduction to many of the remarkable local nonprofit organizations that feed, clothes and heal the needy, support our environment and inspire our cultural awareness.
All of the organizations on this list are nonprofits, but it takes more than nonprofit status to be included. We limit our register to locally headquartered nonprofits that serve the Sarasota area and are supported by at least one public fund-raising event. The Community Foundation of Sarasota County
The Community Foundation is a public charity that helps people support the causes they care about the most.
