At 39, novelist Adam Davies already has a trunkful of great stories, including about his adoptive grandmother Katharine Hepburn and Hollywood moviemaking. (His breakout book, The Frog King, was adapted for the screen by Bret Easton Ellis; he’s penning the script for his third, Mine All Mine, for Paul Giamatti.) About to end a semester as writer-in-residence at New College of Florida, he’ll share some of those stories at Sudakoff Center at 7 p.m. May 12 before heading home to Savannah, Ga.
