Founders Amanda Girton, Ashley Ciferno and Hilarie Noes are bringing a new plant-based food festival to downtown Bradenton from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday, March 14. The Bradenton Street Fair will feature a number of food vendors serving up everything from coffee and baked goods to vegan hot dogs and sausages, plus beer and wine from Bradenton restaurants.

You'll also find booths stocked with vegan health and beauty products and arts and crafts, plus yoga and axe-throwing setups. According to the organizers, the goal of the festival is to show Bradenton that "eating a plant-based diet doesn’t have to boring or bland."

The Bradenton Street Fair runs 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, along 13th Street West between Manatee Avenue and Sixth Avenue West. Admission is free.
