Where to Get a Cinco De Mayo Feast

The COVID-19 pandemic may have thrown a wrench into your Cinco De Mayo plans, but a number of local restaurants are offering limited in-person dining for the holiday, as well as special family-sized party packs. Here are six solid options for a Cinco De Mayo feast:

Bitia's Taqueria

Best known for its Salvadoran specialties, like its incredible pupusas, Bitia's also offers killer tacos, plus quesadillas, tortas, sopes and burritos. Available for takeout only.

Reyna's is offering a massive collection of goodies to help you celebrate Cinco De Mayo. For $55, you'll get 12 tacos served with chicken, carnitas, pastor or chicken, plus onions, cilantro and salsa, guacamole and chips, four churros, and a beer or margarita growler.

This south Sarasota favorite is going to be seating customers up to the 25 percent capacity limit ordered by the state of Florida, in addition to offering takeout. The chimichanga is a personal favorite.

You can find some of the region's best food at this humble stand inside a Bradenton flea market. The stand is currently offering only takeout orders over the phone. The carnitas, pastor, barbacoa, tongue and cactus tacos are always excellent choices. Don't forget to stock up on hot sauce.

Wicked's two locations reopened Monday with limited seating, plus curbside takeout. Cinco De Mayo options include family-size, oven-ready enchilada and taco packs, plus mixed drinks to go.
