New Pan-Asian Restaurant Opens Near University Town Center Mall

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, new restaurants keep popping up. Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi, a small pan-Asian chain that started in Gainesville, Florida, recently debuted in the University Town Center strip that also includes Shake Shack.
Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi is still in its soft opening phase, and is only offering pickup, delivery and carryout service.

Bento first opened in Gainesville in 2002, but has since expanded all over Florida and even to Atlanta. It's a casual, quick-service restaurant that focuses on sushi, rice and noodle bowls, bentos and boba teas. You can choose from among the restaurant's established creations or cobble together your own dish from a list of options. The flavors are primarily drawn from Japan, China, Korea and Thailand. The restaurant is still in its soft opening phase. For the time being, it is offering only pickup, delivery and carryout service, with limited hours. I'd recommend calling ahead before heading over there.
