South Florida's Pura Vida Restaurant Chain Is Coming to University Town Center
University Town Center will welcome a new healthy foods tenant in early 2024. Pura Vida, which is based out of Miami, offers what it calls a "feel-good" menu made from sustainably sourced, fresh ingredients.
Owners Omer and Jennifer Horev founded the restaurant in 2012 and have since grown it into a chain with 15 Florida locations and several more slated to open in the coming months, including the 2,000-square-foot Sarasota location. The Sarasota restaurant will be located in a space along Cattlemen Road.
The all-day café will offer items like avocado toast, açaí bowls, wraps and sandwiches, as well as an array of baked goods for when you need to indulge. Or stick with a simple smoothie, pressed juice or kombucha while basking in the sun.
