Another chicken joint is headed to Sarasota. Arkansas-based Slim Chickens is opening its Clark Road location in mid-October.

“We believe in serving fresh, high-quality food to guests who want fast service in a clean and friendly environment. The Sarasota community has been incredibly welcoming and we couldn’t be more proud to open our restaurant here,” Tommy El Mahdi, a franchisee with Florida’s Best Chicken, said in a press release.

“Our freshly made Southern dishes and homemade recipes create loyal guests who feel good about the food they’re eating. We’re proud to be able to grow our loyal fan base into the Sarasota market,” added Slim Chickens COO Sam Rothschild.

Guests can anticipate fried chicken wings and tenders, chicken and waffles, sandwiches, salads, wraps, Southern-inspired sides and 17 different sauces at this new quick-service location, which is one of over 200 locations throughout the United States and the United Kingdom.
