The Hyatt Regency Sarasota is being torn down—and you can buy its interiors.

Sometimes, when one door closes, you can buy it and take it home with you.

That's what's happening at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota right now, which is having a massive liquidation sale ahead of being torn down this year.

The sale, which began Aug. 5 and will continue until everything is sold, is being run by Ohio-based International Content Liquidations. Currently, it's offering free dressers and buy-one-get-one deals on certain items, including chairs, lamps and even mattresses. It's a consignment lover's dream.

Here are a few things you could take home:

  • A bathrobe ($5)
  • A shower head ($2)
  • A mini-fridge ($38)
  • A LG television ($50)
  • A "complete" full-sized bed with Posturepedic mattress ($50)
  • A K-cup coffeemaker ($8)
  • A blue upholstered chair ($55 and BOGO)

The event is free and open to the public every day from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. until sell-out at the Hyatt's downtown Sarasota location, with prices reduced daily. The hotel, which was built in 1975, is slated to be torn down and replaced by two 18-story condo towers with 117 luxury units starting at $1.4 million. Led by Kolter Urban, the development will also include a Hyatt Centric Harborside hotel with 174 guest rooms, a marina bar, pool, ballrooms and meeting space. Plans also include ground-floor retail space and space for an independent restaurant.

In the meantime, head to the Hyatt for some good deals. Whoever said "you can't take it with you" has clearly not been to this sale.
