I’m not sure when it happened but it is in fact November. With the holidays dangerously close it might be time to start planning for a little Zen, even get a jump on that New Year’s resolution you know you’re gonna make.
Let’s face it, often times the best motivator is to gear up and expand the athletic wear drawer. Hey, my theory (or justification) is whatever it takes to get to Yoga class. Consider the words of Academy Award winning costume designer Edith Head: “Life is competitive; clothes gird us for the competition.”
So, go forth and get some Yoga Zen…then, be sure to scroll down and find yourself an online or local class. Or, check out the DVD by Jennifer Aniston’s Yogi, Mandy Ingber for $14.95….
A chic little way to keep your hair in check while holding down dog or Uttanasana. It’s on sale for $9 + comes in other colors
It’s slightly dangerous for me to go to the Sarasota Magazine offices with the Lululemon shop beckoning as I step off the second floor elevators in the US Garage building. I always seem to part with a bit of cash.
Priiti Crop Pant
These are a favorite Yoga pant of mine. Not only are they comfy and breathable – they have a convenient little waist pocket to store a key and some coffee cash.
Manduka eQua Towel
For those Bikram diehards – a lightweight + quick drying mat towel
If you haven’t heard of this Yoga mat, yet, it’s a dream on the knees. The Black Mat Pro is ¼” thick, 71” long and 26” wide – it’s your own Yoga island.
By the way, Lululemon regularly offers frees classes. Check their site, or sign up for their weekly emails here.
Go ahead; laugh at the Florida girl if you must for showing this puffy jacket. But, I love the idea of staying toasty after a class and the color is FAB!
