Artist Patrick Dougherty is in the midst of creating one of his famous “Stickwork” sculptures on the Sarasota High School campus, the future home of the Sarasota Museum of Art. Dougherty will be working on the sculpture, which has a circus theme, through January 26; photographer Ian Dean snapped these photos of the piece at its beginning stages last weekend, and we’ll be adding photos as it continues to evolve.
