Children First, Sarasota County’s provider of Head Start and Early Head Start programs, last week won WEDU's Be More Informed Nielsen Marketing Campaign Award. Children First was recognized for its Raise Your Hand campaign, a $3.8 million initiative to expand services for at-risk children and their families in Sarasota County that launched last April. The Be More Informed award recognizes the execution of original marketing campaigns using multimedia platforms. Children First has raised more than 90 percent of its goal for the campaign.
