The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is partnering with local hospitality employers on a free online webinar offering an overview of employment opportunities, Wednesday, June 23, from noon-1 p.m. A Spanish-language version of the same webinar will be presented on Thursday, June 24, from noon-1 p.m. Panelists include representatives from Ocean Properties, Sandcastle Resort at Lido Beach, and the Resort at Longboat Key Club, who will share details about positions available at their Sarasota and Manatee beachfront hotels. These include front desk agent, housekeeping, pool and beach, food and beverage, and gift shop positions. Entry-level jobs with no experience offer starting wages of $14 to $15 per hour with free training. Current employees will also provide testimonials about their personal career paths.
