Tidewell Foundation recently received a $30,000 Equity and Access grant from the Community Foundation of Sarasota County. The grant will help pay for the launch of the hospice's Blue Butterfly program in Newtown. The program offers free grief services for children and families. The peer-support sessions bring together children who have experienced the death of a loved one, and are facilitated by grief specialists and trained volunteers.
