New numbers from Visit Florida show that Florida’s visitation from July to September 2021 exceeded 2019’s visitation over the same period for the first time since 2020—a total of 32.5 million travelers in the third quarter of 2021. Of that 32.5 million, 31.2 million were domestic travelers, an increase of nearly 7 percent from 2019, and 1.2 million were overseas and 85,000 were from Canada, a 597 percent increase from 2020, and a 16.1 percent increase from Q2 2021.
