The Charity Register Part 1

By saratemporary September 1, 2003

ABOUT THE LIST

It takes more than non-profit status to make this list. We limit our register to not-for-profit organizations located in Sarasota (and those in surrounding counties that serve the Sarasota region) that offer vital community services and are funded by events that are open to the public. We’ve made every effort to include all groups that fit our criteria, and we hope you’ll bring any omissions to our attention so we may include them in our next edition. If you’d like a copy of our standards, or would like to make a comment or suggestion, please contact Pat Haire at SARASOTA Magazine, 601 S. Osprey Ave., Sarasota 34236, or e-mail her at [email protected]
