That’s what consumers expect in Paris and New York, and that’s precisely what every store on our all-new Platinum100 luxury list delivers. In the quest for Sarasota’s brightest beacons of luxury, we considered everything from product craftsmanship to store ambiance, access to coveted luxury brands and the expertise and demeanor of the sales staff. We found fabulous new boutiques from Main Street to Lakewood Ranch and St. Armands Circle. And we scoured the tried-and-true bastions of luxury, uncovering new brands, new categories of merchandise, even new locations that better serve Sarasota’s sophisticated shoppers.

Most of all, our second annual Platinum 100 list is about memorable shopping experiences that surprise and delight at every turn, whether you’re test-driving a Lamborghini at our newest

auto dealership or being outfitted in couture clothing that’s entirely fair trade and green. We discovered a bit of luxury for every taste and budget, from locally crafted designer jewelry to a Euro-style cosmetics apothecary and an opulent athletic shoe store. We think you’ll agree this is our best guide yet to Sarasota’s upper echelon of retailing, and we hope you’ll save it and enjoy it all year long. Browse the stores by category, and enjoy.
