Barkitecture!

By Beau Denton October 1, 2009

Fanciful architecture meets canine sensibilities with Barkitecture, an ongoing fundraiser for Southeastern Guide Dogs. Seven local architects were enlisted to build the one-of-a-kind designer homes, which are currently on display throughout the Tampa/Sarasota area. The event culminates on May 15 with a night of food, music, and auctions at the Grande Clubhouse in the Lake Club at Lakewood Ranch, all benefiting Southeastern Guide Dogs. Until then, check out guidedogs.org/barkitecture to view design details for each house, vote for your favorite, and purchase tickets to the final event.
