Legends Bay at IMG Academies

Ruben-Holland Development reports real estate activity is heating up at Legends Bay at IMG Academies. This unique real estate project located directly on the bay in Bradenton is presently the only waterfront community under development in the area from Bradenton to Venice. Homeownership at Legends Bay at IMG Academies includes access to selected facilities at neighboring IMG Academies, access which has been limited only to IMG Students and premier athletes from around the world. Legends Bay capitalizes on its picturesque location, stretching alongside one full mile of pristine Sarasota Bay shoreline. With over $1 million in lush landscaping added to the site’s natural beauty, this upscale gated community is both luxurious and affordably priced. A new preferred national builder, D.R. Horton, has recently been added. Changes to this project include market-adjusted pricing with homes starting in the low $400s, which is stimulating sales activity.

Easy and Quick Decorating for the Holidays

While it may be a nice dream to transform the whole house and redecorate for every season or holiday, the truth is that most of us don’t have the time or resources. Still, we do want a festive look in our homes. The good news is that it only takes a few small, well-placed accessories to create a completely new look, points out Barbara Gardner of Collins Interior Design. Before you run out and purchase expensive accessories, she says, look around your home to see what you already have. Chances are that you have everything you need to create your own unique, personal decorations. Create custom window treatments with paper snowflakes or garland. Spruce up your entry way with a seasonal floor mat or fresh flowers. Create a holiday centerpiece with colorful fruit, flowers or metallic ornaments. You may be amazed at how easily and quickly you can add holiday cheer to your home.

Signature Sotheby’s First Anniversary

Associates of Signature Sotheby’s International Realty, the luxury real estate brokerage firm, recently celebrated their first anniversary. Judy Green, a 30-year real estate veteran, opened Signature Sotheby’s International Realty on November 3, 2008. The firm celebrated its first anniversary and reveled in what they’ve accomplished in the twelve short months. The company, by all accounts, has been an overnight success story. Based on the firm’s number of associates, Signature Sotheby’s International Realty is growing at a rapid-fire pace of over 210 percent. But Green is clear that she has no aspirations to be the biggest real estate company; she only wants to be the best. After serving as the president of Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate of Florida and its 200 offices and 7,500 agents for seven years, Green notes that her opinion of the “perfect” company has changed. She notes her firm’s ability to provide more personalized service and to adapt quicker to new market realities as key competitive advantages. “I am very proud of the way we have closed out our first year together as a team. Look how far we have come in such a short time, says Green. “We are excited and looking forward to the opportunities that lie ahead in 2010.”
