One of a Kind Wood Furniture

The Sarasota Collection Home Store stocks special and unusual ranges of indoor and outdoor furniture. The new Priest dining table measures 118 inches or 138 inches long by 43 inches wide by 30 inches high. Each piece of full wood has a unique texture, shade and character. This collection focuses on revitalized and recycled wood that originally served as old house timbers, door frames, doors and the like. These pieces and more are available at The Sarasota Collection Home Store, 622 Central Ave. in Sarasota.

New Technology

Beginning in February, Signature Sotheby’s International Realty is printing QR (Quick Response) codes in its newspaper advertisements. An application called ScanLife, widely available online as a free download, turns a phone into a bar-code reader. Versions exist for the iPhone and BlackBerry as well as Android-based handsets, and the app comes preloaded on many Sprint phones in the United States. When a user scans the bar code in the ad, it takes them directly to a webpage providing links to the homes that will be open that day. “We are always looking for ways to make it easier for prospective customers to find out more information about homes we offer for sale,” said Judy Green, broker/owner. “We are living in a world where technology changes by the minute and we must be able to adapt quickly to provide our customers with the high level of service they expect.”

Home Sites on Casey Key

Five contiguous home sites on Casey Key are currentlyavailable to be developed as one large family compound or separate home sites. This property is ideally configured to create a primary home on the large bay front parcel with guest or family homes on each of the remaining home sites. Zoning allows for a primary home plus guest house on each parcel. Alternatively, a single home could be built on either the gulf or the bay with the balance of the property left as beautifully landscaped grounds where walls and landscapes can be positioned to assure maximum privacy. John Cannon Homes has long been the builder of choice for many private waterfront estates in both Sarasota and Manatee counties. Contact Mark Grigoli or Blaise Bright at (941) 809-2610 or (941) 320-3239 to customize your home on one of these home sites or to design the perfect family compound for your lifestyle.
