Tradition. School’s out, and that means

it’s time once more for the Ringling Museum to host circus performances. This time the spectacular feats are performed by stars young and old, including Ty Tojo, “the world’s greatest 11-year-old juggler.” Shows Wednesday through Sunday June 23 through Aug. 1; 360-7399.

Sarasota Music Festival. Fans of this venerable music fest breathed a sigh of relief when it was announced it would continue; now’s their chance to hear more classical works performed by outstanding faculty and students, through June 19. Artist Showcases take place June 3, 10 and 17 at Holley Hall; festival concerts June 4, 11 and 18 at the Sarasota Opera House; and Saturday Symphonies (with full orchestra) June 5 at the Van Wezel and June 12 at the Opera House. Among the composers represented: Chopin, Rossini, Beethoven, Mozart, Ravel, Schumann, Wagner, Tchaikovsky, Stravinsky and Brahms.
