Founded in 1981 by Steve Marino, who continues as president and chairman of the board, Home-Tech is privately held and employee-owned. Home-Tech employs 135 people in southwest Florida and provides services in Sarasota, Manatee, Lee, Collier and Charlotte counties, with its headquarters in Fort Myers. This spring, the company is celebrating the grand opening its newly constructed appliance showroom and regional office in Bradenton, just off of State Road 70 and Lena Road.

 

The lush, tropical flowers and foliage of Floridian islands inspired this dramatic, overscale floral rug, colored in gorgeous, happy hues. The mix of hooked and tufted wool, in high-twist yarns and mottled colors, gives the rug great texture and dimension.

Contemporary Cabinetry and Closet Concepts, locally owned by Jerry and Connie Beatty, welcome Jesica Ruiz-Tagle, senior kitchen and bath designer (formerly with Ray Routh Inc.). Ruiz-Tagle joins Judy Jones and Vivie Porterfield, senior designers of custom closets, home offices, wall units, Murphy beds and more, as well as Ernie Kauffman, master wood craftsman.
