The tiny gated neighborhood of Whitaker's Landing, set on Sarasota Bay just north of Sarasota Bay Club and Whitaker Gateway Park, is "one of those hidden places that people don't know exists," says Toi Estes of Premier Sotheby's International Realty. Development started in 1990. With just seven constructed homes and four vacant lots (two canal-front and two interior), "it's a close-knit, socially connected community," says Estes.
