It’s been a big year for local fashion designer Cami Leavitt: Her line, Camilyn Beth, a collection of fresh, flirty dresses and separates, is soaring, spurred by press from big-name fashion bloggers. This fall she previewed her Spring/Summer 2014 collection in her first-ever runway show at New Orleans Fashion Week. Now she’s working on her Fall 2014 line while running the Camilyn Beth business—which includes branding, marketing, web development and more—out of her home office in Sarasota. “I could use an eighth day!” she jokes. “It’s been a crazy year. I’m excited to be in Sarasota developing and growing my line.”
