Based on found objects, Barry Dixon’s newest furniture and accessories for Arteriors are crafted from reclaimed wood and hand-forged metal. At the recent Las Vegas Market, the acclaimed designer told us he often visited Sarasota as a child and was commissioned by several homeowners on Longboat Key early in his career. “Repurposing is a growing trend; I love the juxtaposition of high and low, rustic and refined, and East meets West,” Dixon says.
