Ringling Museum-Area Home Sells for $9 Million
Villa Solstice, the grand estate at 374 S. Shore Drive just south of the Ringling Museum, sold in April for $9 million. Business leaders and philanthropists Charles and Kim Githler, now divorced, built the nearly 11,000-square-foot home in 2005 and hosted fund raisers for several top national Republican politicians over the years. The traditional-styled home was originally listed at $14.9 million in 2013. Joel Schemmel and Cheryl Loeffler of Premier Sotheby’s International Realty were the listing agents; Christopher Cogan of Cogan Realty was the selling agent. The buyer was Cross Street Real Estate Services LLC.
