As the largest natural and cultural history museum on Florida's Gulf Coast, The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature offers engaging exhibitions as well as educational programs that interpret the scientific and cultural knowledge of Florida, the world, and our universe. The Museum includes the all-digital Planetarium and the Parker Manatee Rehabilitation Habitat. New this year is the Mosaic Backyard Universe! Opening in August, it’s a remarkable new place for kids to explore, experience, and learn. Children can explore a Tree House, a Science Shed, a Dig Pit stocked with fossils, and even a Cardboard Rocket! It’s limitless discovery!

From the south: Take US-301 north into Bradenton. Turn left at Manatee Avenue West. Turn right on 10th Street West. The Museum is on the right.

From the north: Take US-19 south or US-41 south and cross the Green Bridge into Bradenton. Turn right onto 3rd Avenue West. Turn right at 10th Street West. The Museum is on the right.

From the east: Exit I-75 on to FL-64 west. Turn right on 9th Street West. Turn left onto 3rd Avenue West. Turn right at 10th Street West. The Museum is on the right.
