$9 million | 374 S. Shore Drive

Villa Solstice, just south of the Ringling Museum, sold in April for $9 million. The nearly 11,000-square-foot, traditional-style home was built in 2005 and originally listed at $14.9 million in 2013.

$6.825 million | 1459 Bay Point Drive

A Tuscan-inspired residence in the West of Trail neighborhood of Bay Point Park sold in July for $6.825 million. The home is set on Hudson Bayou overlooking Selby Gardens, with views of the Ringling Causeway and downtown Sarasota.

$6.25 million | 8306 Sanderling Road

This Gulf-front estate in Siesta Key’s Sanderling sold for $6.25 million in September. The two-acre compound, consisting of a main house, guest house and beachfront cottage, has  seven bedrooms, a tennis court and boat dock. It originally was listed at $7.45 million.

$5.5 million | 7902 Sanderling Road

A Gulf-front Sanderling estate sold in March for $5.5 million. The 8,395-square-foot home, built in 1987, sits on two acres and has more than 150 feet of beach frontage.

$5,392,500 | 3601 Casey Key Road

This four-bedroom, six-and-a-half-bath estate, built in 2004 and set on 275 feet of beachfront, sold in July for $5,392,500.

$5.1 million | 901 Norsota Way

A Bay Isles home on north Siesta Key sold for $5.1 million in September. It was built in 2001, and it has six bedrooms, seven baths, a pool and 6,438 square feet of living area.

$5 million | 1240 Hillview Drive

This 4,900-square-foot bayfront home sold in August for $5 million. It was originally listed at $5.45 million. It’s set on nearly three-quarters of an acre and has a deep-water dock.

$4.9 million | 26 Sandy Hook Road

A custom-designed Gulf-front residence in Siesta Key’s Sandy Hook neighborhood sold in January for $4.9 million. The four-bedroom, 5,033-square-foot home, built in 2003, has a chef’s kitchen, heated pool and fire pit by the Gulf, and a 10-plus car garage.

$4.8 million | 2110 Casey Key Road

Casa Hermoso Amanecer (House of the Early Morning Light) sold for $5.05 million in February. The 5,816-square-foot, four-bedroom home, built in 1990, has a one-bedroom, one-bath bayside guesthouse and pool, and its own beach cabana.

$4.55 million | 602 S. Owl Drive

This four-bedroom, 5,600-square-foot Bird Key coastal contemporary home, built in 2012, sold for $4.55 million in March.
