Valentino Pizzeria Trattoria Wine Dinner
November 9

Valentino’s University Parkway location will host a wine dinner that features wines from Il Conte Villa Prandone Vineyard in Monteprandone, Italy. Wine Down After the Election
November 10

As part of a fundraiser to help stabilize the archaic Native American midden at Spanish Point, local Questers are hosting a “Wine Down After the Election” wine tasting event. It will be held at the Sunken Gardens and the Guptill House at Historic Spanish Point, where a sommelier will educate guests on the wines they’re tasting. A spread of hors d’oeuvres from more than eight different local restaurants will be provide to complement the wines. Tickets are $35. 337 North Tamiami Trail, Osprey

Taste of Gulf Gate
November 10

Explore local restaurants in Gulf Gate and join them for the second annual Taste of Gulf Gate event, where more than 20 local restaurants will be participating. Chef Series & Wine Pairing Event
November 10

Join A Savory Palate for its chef series, featuring recipes from Nicole Coudal using locally sourced ingredients. There will be four appetizers that range from spicy roasted shrimp to grilled polenta, and each appetizer is paired with a wine that perfectly complements the dish. Tickets are $35. 26 N. Veterans Day Breakfast
November 11

The Sarasota Kiwanis Club hosts the Veterans Day Breakfast for the third year that benefits the Sarasota Kiwanis Foundation and Goodwill Manasota’s Veterans Services Program. The entire community is welcome and where the event will feature a keynote speaker, Rear Admiral Thomas Logan Malone; the national anthem sung by Erika Quartuccio; and a medley from Danny Bilyeu. Tickets are $25 and the breakfast is scheduled to start at 7 a.m. at Robarts Arena and Sarasota Fairgrounds. 3000 Ringling Boulevard, Sarasota.  

Brew Thru SRQ Craft Beer Tour
November 12

Passengers will board a trolley that takes them to explores some of the hot beer spots in Sarasota. This tour includes starts at Mr. Beery’s, the stops at Calusa Brewing, Big Top Brewery, JDubs Brewery, and Mandeville Beer Garden. The tour will start and end at restaurants, and there will also be food trucks at many of the locations . Tickets are $70 and include the tour, transportation, entertainment at each location, a certified brew guide, trivia, and an assortment of prizes and merchandise. 2545 Mall Dr, Sarasota  

Suncoast Food & Wine Fest 2016
November 12

Enjoy this food and wine festival hosted by the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch in an afternoon of samples from some of the area’s most popular local restaurants, as well as a selection of wines to pair with your light bites. Tickets are $80 for general admission and $150 for VIP. A coupon for a free bottle of wine is included with each purchase.

November Holiday Open House
November 19

Join Michael’s On East Wine Cellar for their first Holiday Open House of the season. Over 50 wines from around the world will be available for tasting.
