The Sarasota Film Festival today released its 2016 ad campaign, created in partnership with students from Ringling College of Art and Design.

SFF commissioned the project through RCAD's Collaboratory, which provides students opportunities to put their talent to use in real-life professional situations. Eight students, representing majors in illustration, BOAD, game art and ad design, submitted work; in the end, concepts from Gisselle Tirse and Nikelle Mackey were chosen. The designs will be seen on all major festival collateral, such as mailings, play bills and sponsorship ads, as well as on SFF banners on Main Street in downtown Sarasota beginning on Feb. 20.

This year's film festival will take place from April 1-10; for more information, visit www.sarasotafilmfestival.com.
