Most towns the size of Sarasota can claim barely a handful of homes worth $3 million. But a quick look at real estate listings shows over 200, and these are just the ones for sale. Let’s look at three.

100 ogden st ljjkfk

100 Ogden St. This mini-estate on north Siesta Key originally contained the Revere Quality House, an early (1948) masterpiece by Paul Rudolph. In 2007 it was renovated and repurposed as the guest house for a new 4,755-square-foot home designed by Guy Peterson, an acclaimed Sarasota architect. The result? The ultimate dose of Sarasota modernism, old and new. $3.1 million. Info: Steven Wexler of Premier Sotheby’s (941) 586-1124.

3550 Sarasota Golf Club Blvd. A gated estate of 5 1/2 acres just 15 minutes from downtown, complete with a 9,000-square-foot mansion that might interest the Great Gatsby himself.
