Summer Abstractions at Allyn Gallup Contemporary Art

Abstract paintings, prints and sculptures by acclaimed artists with links to Sarasota—John Chamberlain, Syd Solomon and John Henry among them—are the focus of Summer Abstractions, the newest exhibit at Allyn Gallup Contemporary Art. In conjunction with the Sarasota Architectural Foundation, Friday night’s opening reception features a talk by acclaimed Tampa architect John Howey, author of the book, The Sarasota School of Architecture, 1941-1966.
