CROWDshot Casting, a talent agency, is searching for extras for the pilot of Claws, Rashida Jones' new comedy about five duplicitous Manatee County nail technicians.

According to Variety, Claws was originally created as a half-hour comedy for HBO, but has been reworked into an hour-long dramedy for TNT, which ordered a pilot of the series. Filming will begin in Sarasota on September 27; according to a Facebook post by CROWDshot, Jones and her business partner Will McCormack will produce Claws along with Warner Horizon, TNT Original Productions and Janine Sherman Barrois (Criminal Minds, ER). Eliot Laurence (Welcome to Me), the show's co-executive producer, wrote the pilot, which Nicole Kassell (The Americans) will direct. Niecey Nash, Karrueche Tran, Harold Perrineau, Carrie Preston and Jenn Lyon will star.
