Just a brief drive west of Sarasota, Lido Key is known for its tourism: sunset cruises, shopping and dining. It's known among locals and tourists for fishing, dolphin watching and sailing. The seafood is caught fresh daily, and the sunsets are unbelievable. Few tourists know, however, that if you dig a little deeper and explore a bit off the beaten path, you might just find hidden gems such as this old church.
