Claws, the new TNT show set in Manatee and Sarasota counties and partially filmed in the area, will premiere at 9 p.m. Sunday, June 11. The show follows a group of women who work in the fictional salon Nail Artisan of Manatee County, which is also used to launder money for an illegal prescription drug operation. The show is primarily filmed in New Orleans, but includes exterior scenes shot in and around Sarasota. The first season includes 10 episodes total. Watch a short trailer for the show here:
