Time to get your geek on when the Marauders, the minor league team of the Pittsburgh Pirates, presents Heroes and Villains Night Friday at LECOM Park—dress up as your favorite superhero and expect to meet fellow baseball fans like Batman and the Joker—and Star Wars Night Saturday—players will be wearing themed jerseys and you may meet Darth Vader. The Marauders will be up against the Daytona Tortugas, the minor league team of the Cincinnati Reds, both nights. (Fireworks after Saturday’s game.)
USA National Beach Tour Junior National Championships
More than 600 girls’ and boys’ beach volleyball players, ages 11-18, are taking over the volleyball courts at Siesta Beach for this national event through Tuesday. It's free, and the public is invited to cheer them on.
