Supporters of the Hermitage Artist Retreat turned out at the Michael's On East Ballroom for dinner and an evening celebrating the awarding of the 2022 Greenfield Prize. The recipient, composer and multi-instrumentalist Angélica Negrón, was unable to be there in person because she was performing a commissioned piece in Seattle, but she made a video appearance. And Grammy-winning cellist Nick Photinos performed a piece by her accompanied by images of the water along Manasota Key, where the Hermitage sits. Tony-nominated actor Gavin Creel also appeared, performing renditions from his original musical work, Walk on Through, inspired by a commission from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
