The Ritz ballroom was transformed into Sherwood Forest for the annual Asolo Rep gala, and guest had fun dressing up in the style of Robin Hood and his men, Maid Marian, etc. for the event. A Champagne bar (embedded in a greenery wall) welcomed attendees, and there was dancing to the music of Gary Racan and the studio e-band both before and after dinner, along with a paddle raise and live auction. The theater's production of a new musical telling the tale of the man who stole from the rich to give to the poor, Hood, arrives in June. Co-chairs of the evening were Mary Braxton-Joseph, Kathleen France and Chris Voelker.
