At the westernmost point in Sarasota’s newest park, The Bay, one can rest and find tranquility in a small sandy nook that offers views of Longboat Key. The existing park is just the first phase of a plan to redevelop 53 acres of bayfront property near the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Kayaks are available to rent for exploring the shoreline.
