This month, Sarasota Magazine is proud to present Views From the New Horizon: Portraits From Sarasota Magazine’s “Listening to Black Voices” Series in partnership with Art Center Sarasota. The "Listening to Black Voices" interview series was created nearly four years ago by Heather Dunhill, who has interviewed more than 50 members of Sarasota's Black community, including a number of leading activists, journalists, entrepreneurs, executives, artists and more.

The Art Center Sarasota exhibition collects 20 prints of photo portraits taken by Sarasota photographer Michael Kinsey of people interviewed by Dunhill over the past four years, and will be on display from March 14 to April 20.

As part of the show, Dunhill will also moderate two panel discussions with participants in her series. The first will take place 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, and the second will occur 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Thursday, March 21. Both events will be held at Art Center Sarasota.
