Thursday, March 5
This Rosemary District block party will feature vendors from the Sarasota Farmers Market, cocktails from The Sarasota Modern hotel, wine and beer, live music from the band Big Night Out and food from one of Sarasota's best food trucks, Spice Boys. Admission is free.

Fruitville Grove Berry Fest

Saturday, March 7-Sunday, March 22
Over the next three weekends, Sarasota's Fruitville Groves is celebrating the juicy sweetness of the strawberry at its Berry Fest. Expect ziplines, pony rides, face painting, kids' games, a butterfly garden and more fun stuff to do, plus food trucks, a beer tent and plenty of strawberry delights, including strawberry shortcake, strawberry milkshakes and strawberry smoothies. The festival runs 10 a.m.-4 p.m. over the next three Saturdays and Sundays. Admission and parking are free.

Parrish Heritage Day Parade Festival & Chili Cook Off

Saturday, March 7
The Parrish Foundation, a 501(c)(3) that provides grants to organizations that serve people in Parrish, will benefit from this party, which takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Florida Railroad Museum. Sample the town's best chilis, groove to live music and browse the wares of local vendors. Tickets are $10.

Bestie Brunch in Honor of International Women's Day

Sunday, March 8
Invite your best friend or even someone you just like OK to this four-course meal, which takes place at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium. The party will include signature cocktails, a fun photo booth, pop-up shops and more. Tickets are $95.

Malt Couture at Calusa Brewing

Monday, March 9
The three guys behind the popular beer podcast Malt Couture are stopping by Calusa for an event that will feature the release of special beers available on draft and to purchase to take home. Mouthhole BBQ will provide the food. The party starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35.
