In 2015 Erin McLeod was named the first woman President of Senior Friendship Centers. However, her service to the organization spans nearly 20 years. As such, Erin has made an indelible mark through decades of contributions through her passionate leadership and service-driven vision. 

Standing at the helm of this $20+M regional nonprofit, Erin guides an expert team to tackle challenges and pioneer solutions on behalf of seniors in our region. Her combined experience in public relations, healthcare, hospitality, and nonprofit management helps her creatively lead the “dress rehearsal” for a societal age wave. 

Erin is celebrated for creating powerful community connections, mentoring others, and transformative leadership, solidifying her as a tour de force in our region.

Senior Friendship Centers is a large regional non-profit organization providing a diverse array of services, programs, and resources to support over 10,000 older adults annually across four counties in Southwest Florida. It has served the region’s older adults for more than 50 years, promoting health, dignity, and quality of life.

  • Its mission is to build vibrant communities by advancing wellness, connection, and enrichment throughout the journey of aging.
