About Take Stock in Children of Manatee County

Take Stock in Children of Manatee County is dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty through education and mentorship. Since 1996, it’s sent nearly 600 underserved students to college. More specifically the organization: 

• Finds and offers deserving students scholarships, mentorship, and a beacon of hope, enabling them to realize success throughout their college journey and in all aspects of their lives.

• Provides scholarships, mentoring, and comprehensive support to deserving, underserved students, empowering them to achieve academic and personal success.

• Fosters a supportive environment that helps students build essential life skills and prepares them for successful futures.
