All-American Cookout at Selby Gardens

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Selby Gardens and listen to live music featuring The Hydramatic, savor the All-American favorites from Michael's On East's grill, take part in a variety of family and children’s activities and enjoy the fireworks while overlooking Sarasota Bay. General admission is $25 for members, $35 for guests; $10 for kids 12 years and younger; and free for children 0-3 years old. You can also purchase Selby Experience passes, which include valet parking, open bar, food and prime viewing for the fireworks from Michael’s on the Bay for $100

Fourth of July Celebration at Siesta Key Oyster Bar

Party at SKOB on July 4 and enjoy ice-cold beers, food specials, shot specials and more—plus the famous fireworks on Siesta Key Beach at sunset.

July 4 Fireworks and Buffet at Pier 22

July 4

Pier 22 celebrates America with an Independence Day pig roast and buffet—plus the rockets' red glare with riverside viewing during the fireworks show over the Manatee River. Fourth of July BBQ and Coastal Food Fest at Eliza Ann's

Join Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club and its restaurant, Eliza Ann’s, for a Fourth of July barbecue co-hosted by Motorworks Brewing. The festivities will take place on the pool deck and outdoor patio of Eliza Ann's Coastal Kitchen. For $24 per adult and $18 per child under 12, guests can enjoy a buffet menu including locally caught grilled fish, Carolina Gold pork ribs, fried chicken, boiled blackened potatoes and andouille sausage. Motorworks Brewing will also have beer selections on tap, like Sailor’s Friend mango kolsch, a specialty brew that was brewed specifically for Waterline Marina Resort & Beach Club, along with two other local favorites, VTwin Vienna Lager and Pulp Friction Grapefruit IPA. There will also be live entertainment by local singer/songwriter Mike Sales and kids' activities will also be offered with general admission.

Fourth of July at Marina Jack

All three of Marina Jack's restaurants will open for lunch starting at at 11 a.m.; reservations are required for all tables for seating for the evening fireworks. The Deep Six Lounge and Main Dining Room will serve a special four-course dinner (the Blue Sunshine Patio will have a cover charge and minimum per person). The dinner cruise will be a three-hour event with a special buffet menu and live music from 6:30-9:30, returning to the dock to watch the fireworks. Call (941) 365-4232 ext. 5 and ask for Anne Camire for reservations for the restaurants; bars will be available to the public, standing room only, during the fireworks display.

All-Day Happy Hour at Mattison's Forty-One

Beat the heat and join Mattison's Forty-One in its piano bar for all-day happy hour and Fourth of July specials, such as a firecracker shrimp platter with dynamite sauce for $15, or Niman Ranch barbecue-rubbed baby back ribs with Alabama white barbecue sauce, red pickled cabbage slaw and blue mashed potatoes for $22.
