St. Paddy's Irish Hooley on the Trolley

Friday, March 13-Sunday March 15 
Get ready to "hooley" on Discover Sarasota's 90-minute tour honoring the Emerald Isle. Host Steve McAllister will guide the way while serenading guests with Irish songs. Beer and wine are complimentary at the vintage gift shop prior to the tour. The trolley will stop at Irish 31 Pub and Eatery for a beer tasting. Tickets are $35.

Sarasota St. Paddy's Festival

Friday, March 13-Sunday, March 15
Gather for a three-day celebration of all things Irish at the JD Hamel Park on Gulfstream Avenue and Main Street. Enjoy traditional Irish meals, local seafood and alcoholic beverages while listening to live music and entertainment from classic and yacht rock bands to Irish dancing and singing. The Humane Society of Sarasota will also park its "Big Mac" mobile adoption center with adoptable pets. The festival begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 13. Admission is free.

Gator Club St. Patrick's Day Block Party

Saturday, March 14
Join the biggest St. Patrick's Day block party in downtown Sarasota at The Gator Club. Listen to tunes from bands 22N, Johnny Diamond and DJ Tao or grab a bite to eat from food trucks Smokin Momma Lora's BBQ Mobile and South Philly Cheesesteaks. Proceeds go to Designing Daughters of Sarasota. The party is from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. Admission is free.

Shamrock Pub St. Patrick's Day Meet Up

Saturday, March 14
The New World Celts-Sarasota and the band Clover's Revenge are hosting a night of acoustic pub music at the Shamrock Pub. Bands will play from noon to midnight. Guests can enter to win exciting raffle prizes or purchase New World Celts St. Patrick's Day merchandise. Admission is free.

St. Patrick's Whiskey Tasting at Michael's Wine Cellar

Saturday, March 14
If beer is not your drink of choice this St. Paddy's Day, Michael's Wine Cellar's whiskey tasting might peek your interest. Discover the tastes of Irish whiskey alongside delicious light bites. Mingle with friends and fellow whiskey lovers. The event is from 2 to 4 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Beach Bistro's 21st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade

Sunday, March 15
March through the streets of Anna Maria Island at Beach Bistro's St. Patrick's Day parade. Gather family and friends and join a crowd of Irish step dancers, high school bands, bagpipers, floats and more. Parade assembly is from 2 to 4 p.m. at Eat Here, and an "Irish nosh" after-party will take place for those age 21 and older. The parade is from 4 to 5 p.m. Admission is free. 

Pub 32 St. Patrick's Day Party

Tuesday, March 17
This Tamiami Trail pub will host an annual block party complete with Irish music, dancing and food. Enter to win raffles and giveaways while enjoying the festivities. Food, beverage tents and an indoor buffet will also be available. Seating will be provided, or bring your own lawn chair to ensure a spot. The block party begins at 11 a.m. Tickets are $5 for the block party and $40 for the indoor buffet.

Big Top Brewing Company St. Patrick's Day Party

Tuesday, March 17
This Sarasota brewery is celebrating the night of St. Paddy's Day with $3 Irish stouts and $5 black-and-tans. Enjoy a menu from Smokin Mama Lora's BBQ Mobile and Irish cupcakes from Sweet Niche Baking Co. Challenge your friends to a game of Irish trivia starting at 7 p.m. The party is from 5 to 10 p.m. Tickets are free.

St. Patrick's Day at Molly Malone's Irish Pub

Tuesday, March 17 
Stop by for $5 20-ounce pints of beer at this Irish pub's day-long celebration. Choose from Guinness, Smithwicks, Magners Irish Cider or order from Malone's full liquor menu. Entertainment starts at 1 p.m. with the Blue Skye Pipes and Drums band. Admission and parking are free.

Blvd St. Patrick's Themed Bike Ride

Thursday, March 19
Join DreamLarge's bike-riding program for this special green-themed ride. Show up in green riding gear and decorate your bike for St. Paddy's Day. Ride through the streets of downtown Sarasota and stop for a drink at 99 Bottles. Check-in begins at 5:30 p.m. and the ride begins at 6:15. Participation is free, but electric bike rentals are $10.
