Oktoberfest Beer Walk in Downtown Venice

Running from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, this beer walk will provide attendees with a map of beer tasting locations as they walk down Main Street. Drink a variety of brews in three-ounce tastings. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online, or at Venice Main Street’s Office, 101 W. Venice Ave., Suite 23, Venice. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event at 5 p.m. at the kiosk in Centennial Park.

Sarasota Oktoberfest

Drink beer and wear your kilt to this clash of Celtic and Bavarian cultures, which starts on Friday, Oct. 16, and ends Sunday, Oct. 18. Motorworks partnered with New World Celts to offer Celtic-style food, beer and onsite vendors. Live entertainment will provided by local bands. The event is family- and dog-friendly.
